You work hard at your business. You’re an expert at what you do. But, that expertise probably does not include computer or systems management. In this workshop you will learn some simple and practical things you can do to help keep your computers working properly and safely. The topics to be covered are:

  • Simple safe computing. How to setup up your network and computers so your environment is safe.
  • Keeping you data safe and secure.
  • Basic maintenance tips that will make sure your computers are available when you need them.
  • Some basic techniques for managing your data and systems you might implement.

Ken Maki

Ken is the CEO of Syntegratek, Inc. He has been working with small businesses helping them with their computing issues since the late 80s. In 2002 he earned a Master’s degree from the University of San Francisco. He is the author of five books about computing and has written for various computing based publications.
