Connecting Tourism to the Neighborhoods LIMITED
Limited Capacity seats available

While neighborhoods most directly impacted by visitors understand the job creation and economic benefits derived from visitor spending, a number of communities are unfamiliar of the full economic impact visitor dollars have on the day-to-day life of all San Franciscans. Learn about the value tourism provides communities throughout the city and how San Francisco Travel is reaching out to neighborhood associations, community benefit districts, business improvement districts, trade groups and merchant associations to help direct tourism to the neighborhoods.

Jon Ballesteros

Jon Ballesteros is Vice President of Public Policy for the San Francisco Travel Association. In this capacity, Jon is the "voice" of the 16 million visitors the city receives each year. His mission is to help create, direct and implement public policy decisions and priorities impacting the future of San Francisco as a travel destination.
