The federal law, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, provides a number of ways for individuals and employers to help make coverage more affordable. This workshop provides an overview of California’s exchange program, Covered California as the Market Place that will connect Californians and small business to accessible, high-quality health coverage and provide the tools for you to shop for health insurance, compare a variety of qualified, competing health plans from private insurance companies, including group plans that meets you and your business’ needs and financial realities.
